Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will re-commence rehabilitation works on Lamington National Park Road. The works will take from mid-January to early February, 2018.
State Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause said that the work activities will include profiling of the existing road surface, road repairs and reseal, drainage reshaping, vegetation trimming, line marking and road furniture replacement.
“The day works will take place between 6am and 6pm and changed traffic conditions will apply.
“Access for local residents and businesses will be maintained at all times, with some access points temporarily changing to ensure minimal disruption to daily activities and trade.
“I remind residents that road worker safety is everyone's responsibility – please obey the speed limits in place and make sure to leave plenty of room when driving past road workers,” Mr Krause said.
